A Seat at the Table Dinner Series | October 31, 7-10pm

I’m cooking again! This Halloween I’m making a seasonal feast for A Seat at the Table, a dinner series hosted by ShaMyra of Sincerely, Squared. She reached out to me about a year ago when she first had the idea and we are finally getting the opportunity to work together. 

The dinner will take place in an urban garden, weather permitting, and I’m going to use as many ingredients from the garden as possible.

Heri Watu is going to be painting live, of course I will create a signature cocktail 🍹 followed by a three-course dinner in the garden.

A Seat at the Table, a community-based tradition that hosts multicultural, young professionals over family style dinners and substantive conversations, is an invitation to engagement: engaging with new tastes, new relationships, and a refreshed understanding of the physical world around us. In this space we’ll focus on community, the culture of the table, and other hands-on practices we find life-enriching.
